Hospital & Institution Group Representatives

H&I Group Representatives are the link between the H&I Committee and individual A.A. groups in San Francisco.

There are currently 563 weekly meetings in San Francisco, and we’d like you to help us spread the word.

We recommend that each group elect an H&I rep to fill a two-year term. Prior H&I volunteer experience is not required.

Register as an H&I Group Representative

The rep then attends our monthly H&I Rep business meeting on the odd months of the year on the third Saturday. See the Events page for specific dates.

We meet at the Mission Fellowship, 2900 24th St. (x Florida St.), San Francisco, on the third Saturday of each month (excepting December) at 10:00 am.

Here’s a sample announcement you can read at your meeting.

“Hospital and Institution volunteers carry the message of AA to alcoholics in hospitals, recovery facilities and jails. 

Orientations for new volunteers are on 3rd Saturdays of the month, 11am–12pm at 2900 24th St and on Zoom 4th Wednesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m.
